Faeries Book 1979

Lovely & colorful hard cover book published in 1979 about faeries (it seemed to have been a thing in the 70’s, LOL).   The actual cover appears to have a linen or rice paper textured wrap on it, gilt faeries on front & writing on spine.  It still has its original dust cover from 43 years ago.  It is filled with 187 illustrations, of which 147 are full color.  Described & Illustrated by Brian Froud & Alan Lee. Harry N Abrams Publishers, NY.   If you enjoy fantasy & beautiful art work, this book is for you!  It is a wonderful, unique collectable.

Warning: Not for children; it has several drawings of the faeries, private parts and all exposed, cause most faeries don’t wear clothes, I assume.

Condition: Very Good (1 owner, purchased in 1979)

Cover: None that I can see

Original Dust Jacket: Yellowed & scratched (did its job at protecting the book)

Interior: None that I can see 

This book is beautiful & the art work is absolutely fantastic.  It just needs a good home.  Please look at the pictures and ask questions, if you have concerns, before purchasing.
