| Hand Painted Roses Vase Limoges? Bavaria? |

| This is a very beautiful vintage or antique vase that looks like those that were hand painted in the early 1900s in France and Bavaria. The dimensions are approximately: 5 1/2" tall and the bulbous part is 5" across, the bottom rim is 2 1/2". It looks like Limoges, but is unmarked. It is adorned with very vivid red and pink roses, with a bouquet in the front and three other roses on the sides and back; the background is sage green and blue with some gold accent. The top rim is painted a copper-gold. It has two cute little handles on either side. It is in very good condition with no cracks or chips, the only flaw is some gold wear on the inside of the rim and a few minute scratches below the rim in the back (see photo of the rear of the vase), but both are hardly noticeable. This is a very beautiful vintage work of art that would grace any home. |
