| The first picture is a group photo of similar colored hand painted Limoges pieces; the Hand Painted Roses plate is in the rear of this photograph. The price mentioned below is for this plate only. This is a lovely early example of the Flambeau Co. from the Limoges Region. It is marked, and the mark indicates that this plate is c.1890’s. It is artist signed “Felix”. It has wonderful large hand painted pink roses with a yellow and gray background and sponged gilt edge. The gilt edges of this plate are gracefully scalloped. It is in very good condition, no chips or cracks. The other items in this picture are listed separately, and all are currently available for purchase. They look fantastic in a grouping and would be very impressive in a display cabinet. |
