| This is a fantastic vintage (c.1920’s) leather Rugby ball that was imported from England. It has the most wonderful patina. The brand name is Briton and the original owners name is etched into the top, E. Hirst. This ball has been used, it is in good condition for its age, but it has some paint splotches, scratches, one pin hole (see pictures), the tie has had a homemade repair with a cotton tie and the center inside has hardened and is rattling around. This item has a fantastic patina and is the real thing, not a reproduction. Add a touch of vintage English sporting charm to any room with this piece. |
