You are viewing a
wonderful hand painted antique piece of porcelain that was produced at the
Jaeger and Co. Factory in Marktredwitz, Germany (Bavaria).
It is covered with nuts and foliage, the colors are fantastic: greens, browns
and shades of yellow. The scalloped rim and the small cabriole feet are
gilded. The bowl is marked on the bottom with the J&C (crossed flower)
"Malmaison" mark. This is a wonderful collectible piece of
German art work that could be used as a nut, candy or jewelry dish and makes a
wonderful centerpiece for display. This unique antique hand painted
piece was produced and hand painted c. 1902.
Condition:
Very Good condition, no
cracks or chips, only some ware to the gilding, which is to be expected after
100 years. Felt pads have been put on the feet.
