| This fantastic vintage hand painted English character pitcher is of “Puck” the devilish goblin character from Shakespeares’, “A Mid Summer Nights Dream”. The Lancaster and Sandland Ltd. pottery factory that produced him was in business from 1900 – 1964. Because of the mark I believe this handsome piece to be pre-1935. This is a wonderful vintage English decorative item that would be great in a grouping of pitchers or with a dry arrangement in it.
Excellent condition, no chips, just some crazing, which is to be expected with vintage pottery.
