| Handsome Vintage Limoges Style "W T Watts." Shaving Mug |

| This is a handsome vintage shaving mug that is white with gold trim and W T Watts. written on it. It is from c. early 1900’s when the barbershops used to keep these types of mugs on the shelf for its’ customers daily shave. This one has no makers mark. It is in very good condition: with only two small flaws. The gold leaf on the rim is worn, but the name is in good shape. The other is a spider crack in the glaze on the bottom, which doesn’t show anyway. And seems to be just a surface crack, see photo’s. These types of mugs are great for putting pencils and pens on a desk, displaying in groups or if you like an old fashion shave, it is good for that also. Great vintage piece. |
