| This is a lovely & rare antique Ashworth Bros. earthenware bird and botanical plate. It was imported from England, produced in Hanley (Staffordshire) at the Broad Street Works c. 1862-1890. The factory produced earthenware, ironstone and other wares from 1862-1968. This is a lovely black transferware design with hand painting which was very popular in the late 1800's to early 1900's. This would make a fantastic antique decoration in a grouping hanging on a wall with the others, or alone in a display cabinet or on a shelf. If you are looking for unique decoration for your home or office, this is something that others won't have. |
