| Greek Sword and Sheath Letter Opener |

| This is a handsomely ornate metal sheath and sword letter opener. I’m not sure what type of metal it is but, the sheath looks like copper and the handle looks like silver or nickel. Whatever metal it is, it has a nice patina and has the smooth worn look of a vintage piece. It is quit heavy for its size. It looks hand forged and has very ornate leaf scrolling all over the sheath and handle. There is a simple knob finial on top of the handle. It is marked “Made in Greece” on the blade. This would be a wonderful addition to any office or study. |
