| Vintage Large Woodfield Steubenville Leaf Platter |

| You are viewing a large and lovely vintage Majolica style leaf platter. This piece was produced by the Steubenville Pottery Co., Steubenville, Ohio. I believe that the color is "Golden Fawn" and this pattern is c. 1950's, it is in the shape of a leaf with a stem. The mark reads: Woodfield / Mfg. By Steubenville. This is a very large platter that would be great as a center piece on a table, displayed in a china cabinet or serving appetizers.
Dimensions: Approximately: 13 1/2 " W
Condition: Good, some all-over crazing, which is to be expected with vintage Majolica, some dark stains on the front and rear and the bottom side of three of the leaf points have minute nicks. They are not noticeable from the top, I discovered them by feeling the edge of the platter.
This is a great vintage American made useful and collectible platter. |
