Antique Spode Copeland "Delft" Bowl c. 1875 |
|
This is a truly lovely example of nineteenth century English tableware. It is in very good condition no chips or cracks, the only flaw is it has two areas where there is blue ink on the rim under the glaze, it must have happened during the manufacturing process. It has amazing detail of a country scene. This antique serving bowl is marked with the "Delft" pattern from Spode Copeland; it was imported from London, England and is c. 1875. It is a brown transfer ware design with lovely hand painting. If you would like to add elegance to your dining room, this unique piece will fit the bill.
