| Wonderful vintage tobacco barrel made from oak (treen) imported from England, early 1900’s, probably 1930’s. It has tobacco written in chrome or aluminum and attached to the outside. Has a cute little Bakelite type finial and beading around the edge. The insert is chrome or aluminum. This item would be great for hiding office supplies or small candies in a study or family room. This barrel would also look great on a mantle with a pair of my English candlesticks. It has some small hairlines, the TOBACCO is missing part of the letter b, lid sticks a little. |
