| You are viewing a fantastic vintage hand carved wood bust bottle stopper. He appears to be a grinning monk. Around his neck line is a robe and he has a beanie cap on. He has a wonderful detailed jolly looking face and is sporting a grin. The monk bust is attached to the cork with a plastic ring and a straw. This is definitely a monk with character, that would be great for watching over your wine or liquor. He would be great in a vintage bottle for display. Quite the conversation piece.
Dimensions: Approximately: 5 1/2" (includes bust and rod)
Condition: Very good, the natural wood has a nice worn patina, some darker areas. The cork is a little discolored and is very hard. (see photographs).
