| Solid Bronze “Wendell August Forge” Stag Dish |

| This is a very handsome solid bronze dish hand forged by the Wendell August Forge in Grove City, PA. It has a wonderful scene of a Stag and a Doe in the wild. The trees rocks and foliage are very detailed and realistic. You can even see the hair on the deer and the individual leaves on the ground. The mark on the backside reads: Handmade/Wendell August Forge/Grove City, PA/Art Iron/K/80/SOLID BRONZE. The dimensions of this dish are approximately 6 ¾”L by 5”W. The dish is in good condition, no dents, but it does have some surface scratches and some spotting (see photos). You could display this dish or use it for nuts and candy. This impressive work of art would be a handsome addition to any nature-lovers home. |
