| This beautiful Limoges style antique hand painted mug is a very vividly painted cluster of berries, flowers and foliage. It is ca. late 1800's to early 1900’s and attributed to the Bell Brothers Pottery Company, Findlay, Ohio. This company was only in business from 1888 - 1904. The mark is BP Co/FO. It is in wonderful condition, no chips or cracks. The thin gold trimmed rim has some gold wear and there is some minute staining inside at the bottom. The measurements of the mug are: 4 3/4" H, 3 3/4" W (base) and 2 3/4" W (at the mouth). These blackberries look so real that it will make you hungry just looking at them. I believe this to be the most beautiful piece that I have had the pleasure to own. You will not be disappointed!! |
