| This is a lovely Fostoria, Monroe Pattern Milk Glass Cake Stand. Wonderful open lace scroll design. It is elegant on both sides, the top a cake stand and upside down it looks as though you might be able to use it for fruit and dip or chips and dip (just a suggestion). Great vintage milk glass piece for displaying and serving. This pattern is listed in the Collectors Encyclopedia of Milk Glass by Betty and Bob Newbound.Approximately 11 1/4" wide (top), 4 1/4" high.Good condition, has a small repair. There is a hairline crack on one of the scrolls that has been repaired and painted on the top (see picture, not too noticeable, I didn't see it when item was purchased). Paint is a little off white. |
