Vintage Lionel Barrymore Gold Foil Etching "Seaworthy" |

For your consideration is a signed Lionel Barrymore gold foil etching, it is titled "Seaworthy". It has wonderful detail and looks very handsome in the gold and black frame with black textured matting. The condition is very good, but there are a few small wrinkles in the foil from the framing process. It measures 15" L by 131/2"W.
About the artist:Lionel Barrymore studied painting in Paris between 1903 and 1907. He attended Art Students League of New York. Even after settling on acting as a career path, he frequently made etchings, composed music and painted at his home in California. Barrymore lived on Long Island during the summers in and around 1917. He lived in Rocky Point, in a little town named St. James.
