| This is a handsome bronze/brass 1878 Swiss Cow Bell with black iron handle and clapper. It reads: CHIANTEL FONDEUR on one side and 1878 SAIGNELEGIER. It is decorated with crosses, shells and flowers. The condition is very good considering it's age. It has just a little rust and some scratches on the handle and the area that the clapper hangs from (see photos). The handle is bent a little to one side. It is an exceptional looking bell and it has a great deep ring. The dimensions are: 3" diameter, 2 1/2" H. |
