Cranberry Art Glass Fish/Dragon Fixture

This is the most unusual and unique vintage (possibly antique) Cranberry art glass creation that I have ever seen. It may have been custom-made. I believe that it was either part of a large fixture, epergne, chandelier or sconce, which was possibly gaslight. It consists of a long clear stretch glass tub with reeding. On one end is the head of a mythical type of fish (carp?) or dragon that looks as if it were hand blown glass. It is a wonderful light pink cranberry glass with dark pink and accents of gold fleck. His eyes are yellow and black. There is a screw type tubular hardware piece sticking out of his mouth. There is a cranberry glass fin running down his back. At the base is a metal ring with a hole that enters the glass tube. It looks as though it may have connected to a base on a fixture or the wall. I believe that gas may have run through this tube. It is in great condition, just a few flaws, but you don’t really notice them unless you look very closely. There is some rust on the metal fixtures, some white residue inside the tube (could be dust), two small chips to the glass (one on the top of the head, one of the tendril type pieces that extend from his neck). Lastly, one of the white teeth or fringe has a bubble pop underneath. These are all very small and unnoticeable though. He is approximately 21” L. This would make a wonderful vintage wall sculpture or could probably be converted into a light fixture if you attach it to a base and run a cord through it. I have one more of these available.
