| Superb Cocker Spaniel Dog Figurine Staffordshire England |

| This is an exquisite old Cocker Spaniel Staffordshire style figurine from England. It is the lovely russet and cream color. The detail is fantastic, from his adorable eyes to his muscular legs and his thick flowing hair, he is definitely a charmer. I do not know the exact age but, I believe that it is old or vintage (not antique) because of the style and the wear to the bottoms of his feet. He is not marked and he has a small hole on his underbelly which is normal for Staffordshire pieces. It is in good condition except for a few flaws, there is a small chip to the glaze and paint in the center of his left ear (shown in picture). He also has some very small chips to the paint and glaze on his hind leg, the tip of his tail and the bottom of his right ear and two hair lines which appear to be to the glaze only. As you can see from the pictures these flaws don't really show. He measures approximately 10" from his left ear to his hind leg and is 7" tall to the top of his head. This charming English piece could be displayed just about anywhere in your home or would make a wonderful (one of a kind) gift for a Cocker Spaniel lover. |
