Amourelle Kramer Co. Frank Hess Haskell Designer Earrings Rare

Description: You are viewing a beautiful vintage (c. 1963) set of Amourelle earrings they are lovely bouquets of flowers in antiqued gold-tone metal settings with filigree backings and leaves. The flowers are made up of deep blue, pink, chartreuse and dark and pale green rhinestones with a faux pearl gracing each. They are clip-on earrings and the stones are prong set. The bouquet is attached to the filigree backings with wire. They are marked on the clip with the Amourelle © signature. These lovely rare and collectible vintage Amourelle earrings could be yours. Condition: The clip on clasps are in working order. The antiqued gold-tone metal appears bronze now. The rhinestones are all intact, they have not been cleaned, they are as found. There is residue on the stones and clasps that could be hairspray and dust in the leaves. A few of the stones have small chips and one of the pearls has rub to the finish (only able to distinguish in the closeup photo). The filigree backing on one is bent a little, see photo. The rhinestones could use a cleaning, but since I am not an expert in this area, I will leave this to the new owner. History: Amourelle items are a rare find. These lovely Miriam Haskell look-a-likes were produced by the Kramer Jewelry Company and designed by Frank Hess who had previously been the head designer for Miriam Haskell. The Kramer Company was founded by Louis Kramer in New York in 1943 and ceased operations in 1979. Approximate measurements: 1"W.  CJ07GW15+
